MRP Scrap is a conglomeration of iron and steel scrap recovered during the processing of steel making slag. MRP scrap from the Industrial By-Product Management Division (IBMD) of Tata Steel as an integral raw material for secondary steel manufacturing, is available in various sizes and grades ranging from 3mm to 300 mm for Processed MRP Scrap and +300mm for Unprocessed MRP Scrap conforming to the highest quality standards.
MRP Scrap can be utilized as a replacement of Sponge Iron/ Scrap in secondary steel making and can be used in different types of furnaces including IFs, EAFs, BOFs.
